Mang phong cách tân Gothic, nhà thờ mang đậm dấu ấn thời gian thuộc giáo hội Công giáo La Mã này nằm ngay giữa trung tâm Hà Nội.Nhà thờ Lớn hay Nhà thờ chính tòa Thánh Giuse được xây dựng theo phong cách tân Gothic của thế kỷ 19, với nhiều chi tiết phỏng theo phong cách kiến trúc của nhà thờ Đức Bà Paris. Đây là nơi sinh hoạt tín ngưỡng của đông đảo giáo dân thuộc tổng giáo phận Hà Nội và cũng là một điểm tham quan thu hút đông đảo du khách trong và ngoài nước. Được xây dựng vào thời Pháp thuộc, Nhà thờ Lớn là một công trình kiến trúc mang phong cách thuộc địa tiêu biểu tại Hà Nội.
